This week has been a little emotional. We got the results and she has a chromosome rearrangement. From what I understand, she has a missing 6th chromosome in one part of her DNA strand, and a duplicate of that same chromosome in another area. It's called a chromosome rearrangement--which they have seen, but not with that specific chromosome. They had a little bit of info on the deletion of that chromosome so they sent that to me, but it won't be exactly what's going on with her because she also has that duplication. Baby girl is the size of a papaya this week! And I don't know how I forgot to write about this last week, but last Saturday I felt her kick! I was reaching for some popcorn and I felt a little poke. At first I though it was a pan handle or something so I looked down, but nothing was there. I asked her if she was kicking me and I started pushing on my stomach and then she kicked me two more times! It has definitely been one of the hight points of my life. I haven't felt her since, but in all our ultrasounds, she's been moving around like crazy.

We went to Flaming Gorge this last week and it was a really good distraction from everything. We went in for our amniocentesis on Tuesday and it went well. Baby girl kept trying to grab the needle! Haha Scott said it was the funniest thing because you could see her little hand moving toward the needle and then away. Then she'd come back and move away. She's too stinkin' funny! We should find out this week (hopefully soon) what is going on with her and possibly what the odds are of us having more children with it and what caused it. She is the size of a spaghetti squash this week! 22 weeks! I can't believe how fast it's going!
